May-06: Harley Reed advises on the West Sussex financial inclusion strategy

Harley Reed was appointed as lead consultant (with assistance from the University of Salford’s Community Finance Solutions) to advise and assist the West Sussex County Council Economic Strategy Group in the preparation of a financial inclusion strategy and subsequent action plan for the County.

Outcomes included a strategy that provided a background and mapped current community finance initiatives and the financially excluded; and established an action plan for the removal of predatory lending and the setting up of fair financial mechanisms for individuals and potential enterprises.
