Learning and Delivery Methods

Harley Reed has highly experienced tutors whose qualifications span a range of backgrounds including Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport, Accounting,  Business, and Law. By matching our tutors’ experience with the relevant subject areas, this ensures we deliver a rich and comprehensive learning experience to all our students. This is further complemented by our highly interactive learning methods as detailed below.

Classroom based teaching
Harley Reed runs full-time intensive, part-time evenings and day release classroom based tutorials. Classroom based teaching usually takes place at our country offices and utilises the latest technology and equipment to support classroom based tutorials.

Supported Learning Environment
Whilst many training organisations offer basic distance learning products, Harley Reed goes further through our Supported Learning Environment, to provide students with an intensive learning experience enabling each student to study at their own pace, within prior agreed timeframes, leading to attainment of their required qualification.

Support offered includes recorded content provided on DVDs followed by live web-based seminars (“webinars”) with audio and visual facilities allowing two-way communication between tutors and students. Assignments are also set by our tutors and direct feedback given to each of our students. Finally, Harley Reed ensures that students always have support through dedicated supervision and support from tutors via webinar, VOIP, telephone and email. Our Supported Learning Environment courses are generally completed with a residential revision day shortly before the external exams. For students unable to attend, live revision webinars are also held.

Webinars
Harley Reed delivers webinar training as part of our SLE product. Additionally, free webinars are held regularly on topics of interest to our clients. This gives us the ability to share our insights through live presentations whilst giving our clients the ability to communicate with us interactively and from the comfort of their own home/office.
